Alopecia Areata
Alopecia areata is an auto-immune disease that causes the body to form antibodies against some of its hair follicles. Alopecia Areata causes sudden smooth, circular patches of hair loss.
The good news is that Calosol has been very effective in solving this problem, as can be seen in the case studies section.
One of the difficulties for sufferers is that it can remain contained in a small defined patch or spread rapidly across the entire scalp and/or body. That is why we suggest treating the problem as soon as possible.
As it progresses and the bald patches get bigger, different terms are applied to it like Alopecia Totalis or Alopecia Universalis. Calosol can usually yield results within 90 days. Where a large amount of scalp hair has been lost, it may take a little longer. |

How can I keep the cost down ?
Patches above the ears and nape of the neck are usually slower to respond than patches on the top of the scalp. If you apply more solution to the "easier" spots you will fill them in much faster, and cosmetically it is easier to cover patches above the nape of the neck or above the ears with your other hair. Within time they also fill in.
Is there a faster Solution?
The only way to get faster results is to apply the Calosol 4H solution 3 - 4 times per day - EVERY DAY. We can arrange to courier your goods if your budget allows, but other than that there is no other way to speed things along.
Can I use Calosol alongside other treatments?
Calosol can be used in conjunction with other treatments.
Alopecia Areata - Areata can now be beaten with Calosol
